When we first saw Futura, our new 6″x22″ ceramic wall tile, we knew it was a winner. The colors are right, the size is original, and the beveled edge distinguishes it from those plain jane wall tiles out there.
These circles are featured in our residential showroom right now, and we’ve seen a lot of infatuation among designers and their clients. Simply stunning. See all colors HERE.
Glass tile has been the one bright spot in a difficult tile market over the last few years. You don’t have to look far to see why this segment has expanded it’s share of the market in recent years. The introduction of new shapes, better colors, and unique formats has changed the way people think about glass tile. It’s not just for pools and bathrooms anymore. Our two newest collections represent two types of glass tile.
The first is the Hirsch Glass collection. With a long history, including providing stained glass for the original Tiffany lamps, Hirsch Glass tile infuses color in the body of the tile, which allows for blending of colors in fluid patterns.
Skylights II is an expansion of the original Skylights collection, which has been a wildly successful affordable glass tile over the last two years.
We’ve always loved all things natural (see previous post, ‘stone:inspired’), but recently we’ve been drawn to all things faux (case in point, sculptur). Especially when they’re as beautiful-and as seemingly natural-as this.
And this.
Could have fooled us.

Acme Tile Recyclers announces a revolutionary new home flooring product. Carpet made of recycled tile! Acme CEO John Balderdash raved about his company’s groundbreaking product, “You’ve heard of carpet tile–carpet cut in the shape of tiles. Now we have Tile Carpet: broken pieces of tile in the shape of carpet.”
If you’ve made it this far, I’m sure you’ve realized this was just a little April Fools humor, which is, as Mark Twain said, one of mankind’s greatest blessings. Have a happy day!
Status Ceramics creates a set of stunning handcrafted tile mosaics in a wide range of colors. Since the surface texture isn’t busy, they coordinate well with granite countertops, slate floors, and other stones. We often use them as an accent liner in kitchen backsplashes and shower surrounds, since the range of colors allows us to work with virtually any color palette.
